In learning mathematics, a student would show their psychological symptom as the effect of process that was happening in their self. If student show positive psychological symptom, means the learning process that was happening in their self also good, begitu pula sebaliknya. Of course psychological symptom of a person is different with other. Psychological symptom that appear are really important to be based for the teacher to developing active, effective, and creative teaching method. There is some method that can be used to uncover pedagogic of psychological phenomena of mathematics education, and is quantitative method.
Quantitative methods are research techniques that are used to gather quantitative data-information dealing with numbers and anything that is measurable. Statistics, tables and graphs, are often used to present the results of these methods. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantitative_methods#Quantitative_methods). Basic of using qualitative method are uncertainly of the future and randomly of every phenomena. To get accurately result, we can utilizing some indicator to handle both of these matters.
Quantitative method can be used in case of correlation between difficulties learning faced by mathematics learner and their achievement in learning mathematics. To researching this case, we have to search data of the research from respondents (mathematics learners). Exactly, indicators of this matter related with relating factors, and then poured it in to scoring question in an inquiry given to respondents. Statistic data inquiry result had to classified and analised to get the conclution. Finally, we can conclude that there is a correlation between difficulties learning faced by mathematics learner and their achievement in learning mathematics. And there are some factors that we can seen from the indicator causing this matter, like motivation, condition of environment, and other factor were really affected. So the teacher could be able to give effective, creative, and innovative learning method by study uncovered pedagogical phenomena of mathematics education.

Comment on Dr. Marsigit’s Paper at One Day Seminar about The National Value, The Value Of Mathematics and The National Standard
Globalization effects influence in every aspect of human living for many country in the world including Indonesia. Quickly development in information technology and telecommunication in this global era obligating every country to progress their competition to stay exist in international level or just become global market object which manipulated by capitalists to their prosperous. Indonesia effort to increase human resources quality which have creativity, logical thinking, consistently, cooperating, not easy to give up, and also high spirit. But there is a question about how the managing of human resources in Indonesia, is it according with the national purpose of this country. Observing from the fact Indonesia still left behind in international competition that indicated by the low quality level of human resources if we compare with other country, it means that Indonesia are not ready to faced the globalization steam.
After read Dr. Marsigit’s paper titled Gerakan Reformasi Untuk Menggali dan Mengembangkan Nilai-Nilai Matematika Untuk Menggapai Kembali Nilai-Nilai Luhur Bangsa Menuju Standar Internasional Pendidikan, I interest to be more critically thinking about education problem in Indonesia that not have point of the solution yet until nowadays. National reformation that expected at this time are not according with the fact. National reformation in all over the side faced many obstructions which be more complex along the quickly of change. In the other hand, long economy crisis causing Indonesia hard to develop.
Dr. Marsigit said, national reformation of education are required in two level, both of macro and micro level. In macro level, national reformation of education should renovating the perspectives and developing educational paradigm by hold on and increasing quality also professionalism and manageable the society going to the new Indonesia that is opened Indonesia, democracy and united. Educational reformation in micro level means educational reformation in the level of lesson study practician have done in class by the teacher and it can be measured by how far teacher could be able in reflecting their educating ways from traditional in to progressive. Dr. Marsigit also explain about how mathematics value can be developed to catch back the nation’s glorious value. It based on how we interpreting mathematics value it self. mathematics value can be interpreted by using three approach, there are ontology, epistemology, and axiology in border of intrinsic, extrinsic, and systemic value.
This paper is really able used as reference to us as next generation in generally, and student of mathematics education in specially, to take a role in progressing national education quality up to international level.

Psychological Symptom of Mathematics Learner
To know the psychological symptom of a mathematics learner, I will try to use a correspondent to solve a story question about mathematics. Here is the data of my correspondent :

Here is the question :
A child which have 1,2 meters tall playing kite which thread have length of 130 meters. The distance of that child and a point under the kite are 50 meters. Calculate the high of that kite !
And here is the result of my correspondence answer :
The length of the thread (c) = 130 m
The distance of the child with a point under the kite (b) = 50 meters
The length of the kite minus the high of the child (a) = ?
a² = c² - b²
a² = 130² -50²
a² = 16900 - 2500
a² = 14400
a = 120
So, the high of the kite is 120 meters + 1,2 meters = 121.2meters. (the answer is correct)
When I give this question to my correspondent, he show antusiasm act. Then, he doing the question seriously, and finishing that question less than five minute without any difficulty. After finishing this question, I’m talking with him about the lesson study of mathematics in his school. From the interview, I get some information, mathematics is his favorite lesson since he was in Elementary School, and he said that mathematics is not difficult. His father always told him to learn mathematics seriously. Other thing that supporting him to learn mathematics is the teacher in his school teaching mathematics well, although the teacher is little bit fierce. The teacher use some method when the lesson study process was happened, there are discussion in a group about Phytagorean material to prove the formula of phytagoras. My correspondent is a clever student in mathematics, he always get the highest value in mathematics lesson since he was in elementary school.
So, we can conclude psychological symptom of a person influenced by some factor both of internal factor and external factor. The positive factor for example motivation, tools and infrastructure, and good method used by the teacher will create student’s good understanding of the lesson material, and hence there will be a positive psychological symptom like feeling happy and high spirit and motivation.
